Made changing the fan clutch on my dodge ram a breeze. Just get a cheater bar and an 18 - 24 crescent and it takes about 2 minutes to break it loose and spin it off.

Works great except the pin dimensions listed are wrong. The small pins actually measure 0.265 (that .005 difference caused a problem for me) and the large pins actually measure 0.345 , not the 0.38 they show. Other than that, these are very sturdy and easy to use. I've been driving this wrench with a hammer to free corroded threads and the wrench is still going strong.

Great tool to have around the house if you ever repair your appliances or garden equipment - especially when you are trying to remove bolt or nut on a shaft with a flywheel. I used the screwdriver method and failed miserably, and I ended up buying this. I was very skeptical at first, but it worked like a charm.

I needed to remove the fan clutch assembly from a 2012 Ram 1500. Chrysler products have the fan clutch screwed onto the threaded end of the water pump shaft with one large (36mm, I think) nut. You need a way to hold the water pump pulley so it doesn't spin to break the fan clutch free. There are 5/16ths inch holes drilled in the pulley face at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions.Using the small pins on this spanner, adjust it so the pins fit in the holes at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. I used a 15 inch Crescent wrench on the fan clutch nut. Held the spanner in place with one hand and tapped the Crescent wrench with a 3 pound hammer. Two taps and it was free. Nice.So much better than trying to rig a homemade tool. I won't use it very often (I hope) but it's nice to have when I need it.

This tool built stronger than expected. The metal arms are nearly 6mm thick. The handle is knurled and is 15.5mm in diameter. I'm using it to hold the flywheel on my vintage motorcycles during points adjustments, etc.
